ArcelorMittal announces a new Chief Marketing Officer for Bars and Rods division in Europe

ArcelorMittal Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Shahab HUSAIN as General Manager & Chief Marketing Officer of its Bars and Rods division, effective 1 September 2025.
Shahab HUSAIN brings a wealth of experience in the steel and manufacturing industry, having held senior leadership roles across various segments of ArcelorMittal and other global industrial organisations. With a proven track record in executive management and commercial leadership, he is well-positioned to lead the Bars and Rods business into its next phase of growth.
Commenting on the appointment, Tapas Rajderkar, CMO, ArcelorMittal Europe – Long Products, said: “We are delighted to welcome Shahab to this key leadership role. His deep industry knowledge and business centric approach will be instrumental in driving the next phase of growth for our business.”
The Bars and Rods assets spread across Germany, Spain, France & Poland play a critical role in ArcelorMittal Europe’s strategy, serving automotive, construction, infrastructure, defense mechanical engineering and geo-technical sectors. Under Shahab’s leadership, the division will continue to focus on delivering high-performance steel solutions, advancing low-carbon emission technologies, and strengthening partnerships across the value chain.
