Compacted ropes
Advantages
Our process of strand compacting, very efficient, although it does not impair the ductibility properties of the strand single wires, provides additional improvements to special ropes working under severe conditions.
Versus conventional, the properties of these ropes give:
- The best MBL ratio for a given diameter: increased breaking load a given for size or reduced size for an equivalent MBL
- Greater surface area and reduced contact pressure
- Increased internal contact area, improved rope fatigue life
- Improved dynamic operation conditions, reduced oscillation and vibrations
