Know-how and experience

Our team has developed its own special software for calculation and rope design. Years after years we have been building a comprehensive experience about ropes.

Strand compaction

Our technology ensures:

• An accurate calibration of the strands leading to an optimal geometrical assembly of the ropes.
• A smooth outer strand surface without damaging the wire coating.
• That no overheating will damage the wire structure.

Plastic impregnation

ArcelorMittal Bourg-en-Bresse has been developing and improving its own in-house plastic impregnation process for more than 20 years, resulting in a range of plastic impregnated ropes suitable for the most difficult applications:

• Increase the service life.
• Protects the core.
• Helps for an homogeneous behaviour of all the components.
