Raw Materials to Finished Products

ArcelorMittal know all there is to know about the materials and processes that go into making some of the longest lasting fencing in the world.

ISO 9001 is a certified quality management system (QMS) for organisations who want to prove their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of their customers and other relevant stakeholders.

ArcelorMittal Sheffield have had ISO 9001 accreditation for almost 10 years now and this is something we are very proud of. As part of this accreditation, we have to prove as a manufacturer that we have full material traceability for our products.

The small tag you find on your fencing and barbed wire products probably doesn’t mean that much to you, but to us, it contains a whole range of valuable information.

This tag allows us to have full traceability of our finished products back to raw material source and are the DNA of our products. From this information, we can trace back not only every coil of wire we have used in production, but we can trace this right back to wire rod source. Being part of ArcelorMittal provides us with a distinct advantage when it comes to this subject as we are lucky to have an integrated raw material route with information and technical experts at our fingertips, should we need to call on it.
